agbe means life

'AGBE - Perspectives for West Africa e.V.' is a registered non-profit association based in Berlin. It works on projects together with partner organisations in West Africa.

Our first project was the construction of a nursery in Tomegbe, a little village in the south west of Togo, which has been completed in 2011.

Our name, Agbe, comes from a language spoken by the Ewe, an ethnic group found in the south of Togo and Ghana, and means 'life'.
